Both coachman and groom are highly experienced and qualified in road driving and are `turned out` in co-ordinating coloured frock coats to the carriages` and top hats.

During your journey everything possible will be done to ensure you are comfortable and relaxed, including issuing you with blankets to cover your legs during the winter months.

It is the coachman's responsibility to try to cover every eventuality, so a full spares kit is always carried so as to be able to make minor harness repairs, put a nail in a loose shoe or even a box of matches to light the candles in the lamps in case of being out after dark.
